This region is home to beautiful water falls, rivers and dense forests, as well as dry and arid regions of Karnataka. It is far from Bangalore but offers a large number of options to the tourists. Nature is the only form of entertainment here. It's greenery in the western parts is comparable to that of Kerala. The famous Jog Falls are in this area and so is the wild life sanctuary - Dandeli; where as the regions of Gulbarga etc are dry and hot.
